We’re moving operations to India on May 1st, but we can’t do it without your help.
We’re excited to announce our biggest sale ever, to accomplish our biggest goal ever. We are offering 51% off everything storewide to honor all women, who make up 51% of the U.S. population. We’re also doubling down on our mission to employ more women with living wages in India, and moving our operations there by the end of May. But we can’t make this move without your help.
The Sudara story started when I came home from my second trip to India in 2005 and set out on a mission to end sex slavery for women and children. What started as a non-profit to provide jobs and vocational training to empower women to escape sex slavery in India, has grown into the Sudara we know now – a certified B-Corp operating out of Bend, Oregon with vocational centers across India.
Not only a startup company, but a pioneer in this brave new space, we have learned so much from our failures and successes. Most importantly, we saw that we’re not alone. You showed up to fight this injustice in ways we never could have on our own. In the past four years, your purchases and donations have contributed $1.5 million toward helping women and children in India escape the sex trade and live in freedom.
In order to grow and further serve our mission, though, we’ve realized we need to make another big move – literally. Moving operations to our vocational center partners in India is critical to our growth and continued impact as it gives us the ability to create even more jobs, opening Sudara goods to a global market. But, we can’t do it alone – we need your help.
In order to fund the move, we need to liquidate the inventory in our Oregon warehouse. With our spring line launching on May 1st, we have to move quickly.
We are offering 51% off everything storewide to honor all women, who make up 51% of the U.S. population. Plus, it’s officially our biggest sale ever, and we wanted to make this a win-win for those who are able to help! Sudara would have never existed without you, and for that we are eternally grateful. We can’t wait to work together to expand our mission, empowering women worldwide.
For Freedom,
